"I reached out to Regina Eisenberg to increase the number of PBS stations agreeing to carry a documentary I produced.  The theme of the documentary related to Alzheimer’s disease, but our approach to the disease diverges significantly from the way it is typically framed for the general public.  Whereas the default setting for depicting dementia is set to gloom…, our approach centers on the kinds of relationship-driven healing that can occur with or without a cure.  Few people are aware of how much of an impact the “non-demented” can have on those with dementia through their abiding emotional attention, and by maintaining communion (in whatever form possible) with their friend or loved one who is experiencing the disease in his or her unique way.

All of this to say: I had a significant marketing challenge when introducing our documentary, There Is a Bridge, to PBS stations.  And it was because of this challenge that I sought out someone who could advocate to program managers directly on behalf of the documentary….I knew I needed someone who could reach the ear of program managers and, that reached, communicate…at the same level and degree of nuance that went into the documentary’s creation.

My research led me—by very strong recommendation—to Regina Eisenberg.  How fortunate I am to have found and now worked with Regina.  She devoted her attention to every aspect of the documentary…, with intelligence, genuine curiosity, and unflagging patience.  Communicating with her through telephone and e-mail assured me that she was a superb communicator.  And indeed she is….Regina’s direct contact to station managers, her careful charting of the on-going relationships she was building with each decision-maker, and her consistent communication with me on her progress explains the lion’s share of the remarkably generous way There Is a Bridge was received throughout the country.

She is a consummate professional.  We are currently completing our next documentary.  Regina Eisenberg Productions, Inc. will lead its dissemination into the PBS universe.  She is my secret weapon."

"Regina has a great feeling for what the stations want and need from a project.  Not only does that make it easier for programmers to judge her programs but it means the producers she is working with have much better chances of getting my attention, she never wastes my time.  When Regina asks me to take a look at a program I make sure to find time to screen it."

"We could not have asked for a better advocate for our series, Remaking American Medicine-Health Care for the 21st Century, than Regina Eisenberg.  She never wavered in her support for our series as she promoted our work to the hundreds of public television programmers and to the National programming Service at PBS.  The respect that public television programmers have for Regina was evident to us when we attended a dinner that she organized at a recent programmers meeting.  Producers can be confident that they will have a steadfast and experienced advocate for their programs when they work with Regina."

"Working with RE eased all the fears I had about reaching the largest audience for my program.  Not only is Regina a consummate professional, she treats your program as if it were her own, determined to get your program the audience it deserves.  She cares about the independent, and  I always felt that Regina was in my corner.  It was if I had my own agent."

"Thank you, Regina for everything you have done for us over these last two months. We knew you would be good because you came so highly recommended. You have been tremendous! From your deep knowledge of the PBS system and your tireless effort on our behalf to your upbeat attitude and friendly manner, we simply could not have asked for a better station relations person. You also have a wonderful balance of diplomacy and persuasiveness and that must be critical to working successfully with PBS programmers. The results say it all!! Thank you!!”

“Regina Eisenberg did a superlative job for us as our station relations representative for the one-hour documentary film, Xavier: Missionary & Saint.  She has an expansive knowledge of the PBS system from decades of experience in syndication and distribution, and she has authentic and longterm relationships with PBS programmers and schedulers across the nation.  It's easy to see why; she only represents top-quality programs and she is extremely professional in her approach to the business.  We anxiously look forward to our next PBS syndication project with Regina.
